Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, a foreign passport is mandatory.
It is impossible to submit documents and obtain a visa for studying abroad without it.
The foreign passport is your main identification document outside your home country, and it is required at the application stage.
We recommend obtaining it in advance if you plan to study abroad.

The foreign passport must be valid for at least 20 months from the date of submitting documents for a study invitation.
For citizens of Turkmenistan, who require a visa for Russia, a study invitation is mandatory for obtaining a visa.
Therefore, the passport’s validity must cover the entire process—from document submission to the start of studies.
You can apply to a university with a passport of shorter validity, but it must be renewed before obtaining the invitation.
We recommend checking your passport’s validity in advance to avoid delays.

Yes, such a certificate can be issued after enrollment in a university.
It is provided to applicants whose foreign passport has less than 20 months of validity, which is insufficient for obtaining a study invitation.
The certificate confirms your enrollment and the need to replace your passport to obtain a study visa.
We will assist in obtaining this document after enrollment.

There are no formal age restrictions for applying to Russian universities—you can apply at any age.
However, some regions in Russia (e.g., Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, etc.) do not issue study invitations for applicants over 25 years old (born before 2000).
In other regions (Moscow, St. Petersburg, etc.), invitations are available for older applicants.
We will select a university and region based on your age and assist with all necessary documents.

Government-funded education is a free form of education fully paid for by the Russian Federation government.
Citizens of Turkmenistan can apply for government-funded programs if they pass the competitive selection.
In this case:
- Education is free, and students do not pay tuition fees;
- The university provides a monthly stipend ranging from 2,500 rubles (approx. $30) to 20,000 rubles (approx. $250);
- Parents can officially send up to $300 per month to the student in Russia at the official exchange rate (3.5 TMT per $1).
Government-funded education is a real opportunity to obtain quality education in Russia without significant annual tuition costs.

Contract-based (or paid) education is a form of education where the student pays the tuition fees.
Payments can be made:
- Through a bank (in manats at the official rate);
- Or in cash in rubles in Russia.
Contract-based education allows those who do not qualify for government-funded programs or prefer a specific program or study format to enroll in a university.
We will help select a suitable university and prepare all documents for contract-based admission.

To apply for the first year or preparatory faculty on a contract basis, the following documents are required:
- A high school certificate (in color, with a notarized translation into Russian);
- A foreign passport (in color, with translation);
- Four 3×4 photos;
- An internal Turkmenistan passport (with notarized translation).
We will assist with translations and ensure all documents are properly prepared for successful admission.

To participate in the competition for government-funded education (bachelor’s/specialist), the following documents are required:
- A high school certificate with a notarized translation into Russian or a grade transcript if the certificate is not yet issued;
- A foreign passport with translation;
- Four 3×4 photos;
- The applicant’s birth certificate with translation;
- One parent’s birth certificate with translation;
- The applicant’s internal Turkmenistan passport with translation;
- One parent’s internal passport with translation.
We will verify each document and assist with proper translation to ensure you confidently pass the government-funded admission process.

Yes, you can trust us.
We are an officially registered company in the Russian Federation.
Our organization, LLC ‘Students Life,’ is based in Kazan, and we have been helping international applicants enroll in Russian universities for many years.
We are the first Turkmen company to officially sign cooperation agreements with Russian universities, giving us the legal right to support international students at all stages of admission.
We sign an official service contract with each client, clearly outlining all terms, rights, and obligations.
We value the trust of our students and their parents and always work transparently, honestly, and with maximum responsibility.

Deadlines depend on the specific university—each institution sets its own admission schedule.
Some universities start accepting documents as early as February and close in June.
Others continue accepting applications until September or even November, especially for contract-based programs or preparatory faculties.
Don’t worry—we will select the best option for you based on deadlines, your certificate, program, and city of study.
The earlier you contact us, the better your chances of enrolling in your desired university.

Russian universities typically require a prepayment to secure your enrollment—guaranteeing your place.
The minimum prepayment in some universities is around $360 USD, which must be paid before arriving in Russia.
After arrival, you can pay the remaining tuition through a Turkmenistan bank at the official exchange rate.
We will help you clarify the exact payment terms for your chosen university and prepare all necessary documents.

Yes, you can.
Students from visa-required countries (e.g., Turkmenistan) can legally stay in Russia after completing their studies.
During studies, a temporary residence permit for educational purposes (RVPО) is issued.
After graduation, you can apply for a residence permit (VНЖ), which allows you to:
- Live in Russia without time restrictions;
- Work without additional permits;
- Study, travel, and rest freely.
We support students with the RVPО and VНЖ application process.

Yes, they can.
International students enrolled in full-time programs at Russian universities can legally work without additional permits if:
- The work is done in their free time;
- The employment is in the same region as the university.
This allows students to gain professional experience and earn additional income during their studies.

Yes, transfer is possible.
Students studying at foreign universities, including in Turkey, can transfer to a Russian university if they meet certain conditions:
- Studying a similar educational program;
- Providing an academic transcript and grade sheet;
- Having a valid foreign passport;
- And, if necessary, completing the nostrification process.
We support the entire transfer process, from selecting a suitable university to preparing documents.
We also assist students transferring back to Turkish universities if they decide to continue their studies in Turkey, helping with document preparation and transfer procedures.

Yes, it can.
If you permanently reside in another country and have a residence permit, the study invitation can be issued to that country.
The main condition is having a valid residence permit and the ability to obtain a visa at a Russian consulate in that country.
We will help issue the invitation based on your current place of residence and prepare all necessary documents for the visa.

We offer attractive discounts for those applying with friends or relatives:
- For 2 people, each receives a $50 discount;
- For 3 or more people, each receives a $100 discount.
These discounts apply to each group member, making admission more affordable.
We are also ready to discuss individual terms and other special offers.
